Japanese Game Characters

In the eighties and nineties, the video game consoles were completely dominated by games made in Japan. Basically every fighting game had at least one Japanese character, with the probably most popular ones being Ryu from Street Fighter and later the Mishima Family Members Kazuya and Heihachi in Tekken, Akira Yuki in Virtua Fighter and even the most popular Mortal Kombat character, Scorpion is from Japan.
