Pac-Man is one of the oldest video game characters in general with him being the main protagonist of Pac-Man the game which was released in May 22nd 1980 in Japanese Arcades already.

While he started at that “Dot Eating Pizza” thing, he got arms and legs in illustrations soon and appeared that way in multiple Pac-Man games later which strived away from the dot-eating arcade classic mechanics.

Today there are Pac-Man Point & Click Adventures, Racers, Platformers and Pac-Man even made it into crossover fighting games like the Playstation versions of Street Fighter X Tekken in 2012 and Super Smash Bros. 4 WiiU and 3DS in 2014.

In June 2014, we made him the character of the Month which resulted in around ten Pac-Man fan arts.
