Keiji Maeda is one of the playable characters and protagonists in the Sengoku Basara series by Capcom.

He debuted in Sengoku Basara 2 (2006) as one of the initial playable heroes and became also one of the playable characters in the 2D Fighting Game Sengoku Basara X (2008). In Sengoku Basara 3: Samurai Heroes (2010) he returned but had to be unlocked first by beating the story with Date Masamune. In Samurai Warriors 4 (2014) Keiji was one of the initially playable characters.

Keiji Maeda is using a giant samurai sword in the Sengoku Basara games and is almost always accompanied by his little monkey named Yumekichi. He is portrayed as a good guy here who always helps his friends and loves to party.
