Takuma Sakazaki is one of the playable characters in the Art of Fighting and later the King of Fighters fighting game series by SNK.

He debuted as his alter ego Mr. Karate in the first Art of Fighting (1992) and became a playable character without the tengu mask in the sequel Art of Fighting 2 (1994). In the same year he formed the Mexico Team in The King of Fighters ’94 with his son Ryo Sakazaki and his student Robert Garcia

Takuma returned in the majority of the KOF games including all the “Dream Match” games. His currently latest playable appearance is in The King of Fighters XIII (2010), he is also mentioned in newer games like The King of Fighters XIV (2016) and SNK Heroines (2018).
