Registeel using Iron Defense by DevilDman

Damyan from Canada is a big Pokemon fan and is also creating a lot of Fakemon, his first submission to one of our Projects was the Horsea in 2016, when we organized the Gen I Tribute. He continued with Ledian from Gen II and now Registeel, one of the legendary Hoenn Pokemon from Gen III!

You can see his whole gallery here!

Iron Defense

“The user hardens its body’s surface like iron, sharply raising its Defense stat.”

Iron Defense is a non-damaging Steel-type move that raises the user’s Defence stat by two stages up to a maximum of six.  Some Pokemon can learn Iron Defense as an Egg Move while others can learn it through levelling up.

Registeel using Superpower by freqrexy

Bev Wooff / Freqrexy from the United Kingdom creates art for 13 years already and joined our Pokemon Tribute as one of the first artists in May already. In the end, she contributed not less than eight of the 151 Pokemon for it in 2016 and returned four Pokemon in our Gen II Tribute and another stunning 16! of the 135 Gen III Pokemon, making her the direct “rival” of Yggdrassal, the only other artists in our community who ever contributed 16 Pokemon for one of the Generation tributes!

She is also one of the GA-HQ Patreon Supporters and helps me to create the galleries by writing the descriptions of many of the Pokemon and the illustrated moves and abilities 🙂

You can see a lot of drawn art but also crafted items and even cosplay in her gallery here!

Superpower

“The user attacks the foe with great power. However, it also lowers the user’s Attack and Defense”

With great power comes great…oh wait. Umm Superpower is one of the fighting-type attacks that were introduced in the Gen III games. Its….strong..but it will lower the Attack and Defense stats by the user. So yeah..this move will not always be that super. 😛

The legendary Registeel was the first Pokemon in our series of tributes that used it.

Registeel

“Registeel was imprisoned by people in ancient times. The metal composing its body is thought to be a curious substance that is not of this earth”
