Lileep using Energy Ball by MeguBunnii

Angie Rose aka MeguBunnii joined Game-Art-HQ with the Pokemon Gen I Tribute and was fast to claim Clefairy and also Gloom as her two cute contributions to this project. She returned for Gen II where she delivered once again with Chikorita, Mareep, and Jumpluff! Her Generation III contributions are Loudred and Lileep!

Please have a look at her whole portfolio here!

Energy Ball

“The user draws power from nature and fires it at the foe. It may also lower the target’s Sp. Def. “

Energy Ball is a Grass-Type Move that deals damage, introduced in the Generation IV games (Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum).

It has a power rating of 90 and the nice side effect of lowering the opponents’ special defense by an amount of 10% as well. It does not affect targets with the Bulletproof ability though. Treecko learns Energy Ball at level 37 (previously 51 since Generation IV, and 50 in X and Y). The first Pokemon that learned the Energy Ball in our Project was Vileplume from Gen I!

Lileep using Stockpile by freqrexy

Bev Wooff / Freqrexy from the United Kingdom creates art for 13 years already and joined our Pokemon Tribute as one of the first artists in May already. In the end, she contributed not less than eight of the 151 Pokemon for it in 2016 and returned four Pokemon in our Gen II Tribute and another stunning 16! of the 135 Gen III Pokemon, making her the direct “rival” of Yggdrassal, the only other artists in our community who ever contributed 16 Pokemon for one of the Generation tributes!

She is also one of the GA-HQ Patreon Supporters and helps me to create the galleries by writing the descriptions of many of the Pokemon and the illustrated moves and abilities 🙂

You can see a lot of drawn art but also crafted items and even cosplay in her gallery here!

Stockpile

“The user charges up power, and raises both its Defense and Sp. Def. The move can be used three times”

Stockpile is a Normal-Type move that was introduced in the Generation III games and is a great technique for players that love to be a tank-like character that has a great defense stat. While a couple of the Gen I & II Pokemon can learn this move now, the first one using it in our big art collaboration is Lileep!

#345 Lileep

“Lileep is an ancient Pokémon that was regenerated from a fossil. It remains permanently anchored to a rock. From its immobile perch, this Pokémon intently scans for prey with its two eyes”
