Metang using Meteor Mash by LuckyNumber113

Kimberly from the USA is one of the artists that joined GA-HQ in 2017 as a part of the Pokemon Generation II Project. She can draw but as you can see with her take on Xatu, she is also crafting artworks. In 2017, she returned for our Gen III Tribute with four new submissions, two were drawn and two were crafted!

Check out her whole gallery here!

Meteor Mash

“The foe is hit with a hard punch fired like a meteor. It may also raise the user’s Attack”

Meteor Mash is one of the Steel-Type attacks that were introduced in the Pokemon Gen III games, so it was just fitting that Metang would be the first one in our series of Pokemon collaborations that uses it. It inflicts not only damage to the opponent however, it also has a 20% chance to rise the attack stats by one stage. Very Nice!

Metang using Brick Break by freqrexy

Bev Wooff / Freqrexy from the United Kingdom creates art for 13 years already and joined our Pokemon Tribute as one of the first artists in May already. In the end, she contributed not less than eight of the 151 Pokemon for it in 2016 and returned with four Pokemon in our Gen II Tribute and another stunning 16! of the 135 Gen III Pokemon, making her the direct “rival” of Yggdrassal, the only other artists in our community who ever contributed 16 Pokemon for one of the Generation tributes!

She is also one of the GA-HQ Patreon Supporters and helps me to create the galleries by writing the descriptions of many of the Pokemon and the illustrated moves and abilities 🙂

You can see a lot of drawn art but also crafted items and even cosplay in her gallery here!

Brick Break

“An attack that also breaks any barrier like Light Screen and Reflect”

brick-break

The Brick Break move was introduced in the Gen III Pokémon games and is a damage-dealing  Fighting-type move that has the side effect of removing Reflect and Light Screen as long as the enemy is not a Ghost-type Pokémon..at least since Gen VI.

Raichu, which was the first Pokemon that used it in our Project can learn this move by using the Technical Machine #31. Hitmonlee and Pinsir are the only Gen I Pokémon that can learn Brick Break through leveling. Right now, there are just nine Pokemon in the whole Pokedex than can learn Brick Break through levelling.

Metang

“When two Beldum fuse together, Metang is formed. The brains of the Beldum are joined by a magnetic nervous system. This Pokémon turns its arms to the rear for traveling at high speed”
