Ganon is the main antagonist of the Legend of Zelda games and made his debut as the final boss in the original Zelda game in 1986. He returned in the most Legend of Zelda games in different designs and since 1998 and Zelda: Ocarina of Time also in his Ganondorf form where he looks more like a human instead of having a boar-head and being much taller. Ganondorf also made it into the Super Smash Bros. fighting game series since Super Smash Bros. Melee on the Gamecube. Ganon is also a boss in Nintendoland (2012 and made it also into Hyrule Warriors (2014) as one of the main antagonists. Ganon / Ganondorf are some of the most iconic video game villains of all time and as a an of the Legend of Zelda games since the start back on the NES I thought it would just be appropriate to start with the classic Ganon from the 8th dungeon in the Legend of Zelda as part of our video game character DB.
Laura aka PitchBlackEspresso joined this Project to get dedicated illustrations for our website quickly to take classic Ganon and drew him with traditional tools. It does not get any more appropriate for this classic video game character!
