Poison is a character of the Final Fight and Street Fighter series. She debuted as an enemy in the Final Fight in 1989, and was playable for the first time in the Sega Saturn 3D Fighting Game Final Fight Revenge (1999) which was one of the last Saturn games and not released worldwide. In Street Fighter III and SNK Vs Capcom she accompanies Hugo but is not playable. This changed in 2012 when she finally returned with a ton of funny moves and win phrases in the crossover game Street Fighter X Tekken. In August 2019, she joined the roster of Street Fighter V (2016) as a DLC character. In Summer 2013, Poison was also revealed to be one of the five Ultra Street Fighter IV characters which finally makes her a playable character in a real Street Fighter game. Poison is one of the more controversial video game characters, due to her being a transsexual / shemale and there are many fans who still want to see her as the 100% woman Poison is cosplayed often and gained quite the popularity among artists and fans since she was revealed for SFXT in 2011, today there are many great artworks made by fans for her, and as usual we are featuring some of the best of them here. |
