Jirachi using Doom Desire by Faith-Wolff

Faith-Wolf from the USA draws usually a lot MLP Fan Art but also Pokémon sometimes, so she joined our project with her take on Raichu in 2016 and returned with Celebi using the mighty Leaf Storm when we announced the Gen II Tribute! She also took the legendary Jirachi from Gen III using the Doom Desire in 2018!

Have a look at here whole gallery here!

Doom Desire

“Two turns after this move is used, the user blasts the target with a concentrated bundle of light”

Doom Desire is a Steel-type attack that was introduced in the Generation III games and the signature move of Jirachi. Like the official description already says, the effects of using this attack won’t start before two more turns went by. However, it has a 100% accuracy rating and 140 Power.

Jirachi was the first Pokemon in our Tribute that was drawn using Doom Desire.

Jirachi using Future Sight by AClockworkKitten

Pusa from the United States joined our Pokemon Tribute I in summer 2016 as one of the last artists but drew not less than three beautiful illustrations for it already. Starting with Goldeen, Diglett and finally a super cool Exeggcute one. Following were Hoppip, Bellossom and Yanma for our Gen II Tribute. In 2018 she contributed even four Pokemon with Skitty, Mudkip, Banette and Jirachi!

I recommend to visit her whole gallery to see many more cute artworks 🙂

 Future Sight

“Two turns after this move is used, a hunk of psychic energy attacks the target.”

Future Sight is a Psychic move with a huge base power of 120. It can only be learned by a handful of Pokemon naturally or through egg moves, no TM was provided for this move.

It’s incredibly powerful and can bypass Protect, Detect and Wonder Guard and can even knock out an opponent that has used Endure! Despite this however, it cannot take out a Pokemon with a Focus Sash in one hit.

Xatu was the first Pokemon in our project that used the Future Sight!

“Jirachi will awaken from its sleep of a thousand years if you sing to it in a voice of purity. It is said to make true any wish that people desire”
