Exeggcute used Attract by MTSugarr

MTSugar joined GA-HQ with her special take on Shellder, just to claim a very attracting Exeggcute as well. If you like cute stuff, check out her whole gallery here!

“Infatuates target, making it harder for them to attack foes of the opposite gender. “

Attract is a non-damaging Normal-Type move introduced in Generation II. It is capable of infatuating the target of the opposite gender of the attacker, making it harder for the target to hit the attacker. Many female and Fairy-Type Pokemon come equipped with this move already; and it proves quite effective in frustrating players trying to get their best Pokemon to attack when they are being thwarted by “The Power of Love.”

Pusa from the United States joined our Pokemon Tribute relative late but drew not less than three beautiful illustrations for it. Starting with Goldeen and Diglett and finally a super cool Exeggcute one. I recommend to visit her whole gallery to see many more cute artworks 🙂

“The strongest Grass-type attack. Energy is absorbed in the first turn, then fired the next turn”

The Solar Beam is a strong Grass-Type move that deals usually a lot of damage but takes two turns. In the first turn, the Pokemon has to prepare the move before it will be unleashed in the second turn. It can be prevented if the opponent used a move like Paralyze or Confusion.

“A Pokémon that is like the seeds of a plant. If you find one and chase it, others will join it without you noticing”

Easily one of the most bizarre Pokemon yet; Exeggute is a Grass/Psychic-Type Pokemon. Although they appear to be a cluster of sentient eggs, they are more like seeds. Proof is when they are exposed to a Leaf Stone and then evolve into Exeggcutor.

The oddity of this Pokemon continues as each of the six eggs seem to communicate with each other despite appearing as one body. As they are one mass, each egg shares the same amount of damage or status effects inflicted on it. Exeggcute and its evolved form Exeggcutor are the only Pokemon who can learn the move Barrage.
