Anorith using Rapid Spin by Altarior

Altarior from Denmark is one of the around 15 artists that were invited for our first Pokémon Art Collaboration. I saw her impressive take on Hoh-Oh in February 2016 and had a feeling she would like this project. She drew not less than nine of the Generation I Pokemon which made her one of the most active artists for our first Pokemon Collaboration. In 2017 she returned to the fun and took “only” Togetic, Gligar, Remoraid, Skarmony, and Stantler while she became one of our most active artists in the Gen III Tribute again with eight of the lovely 135 Pokemon drawn by her alone for it!

You are going to find a ton of awesome artworks in her gallery here at deviantART!

Rapid Spin

“Spins the body at high speed to strike the foe”

The Rapid Spin was introduced in the Generation II games and is a damage dealing normal type attack but also removes any binding moves as well as the effects of the Leech Seed from its user.

Baltoy was the first user of the Rapid Spin in our series of Pokemon art collaborations!

Anorith using Rock Slide by Flames-Flare

Flames-Flare aka. Corinne Rose from the USA is a young artist that joined the Pokemon Generation III Tribute when the majority of the Pokemon were already illustrated. She impressed us with her beautiful method to paint with traditional tools that gave the Pokemon her own unique look. In the end, she created not less than four submissions for our big collaboration with Anorith, Trapinch, Carvanha, and Zigzagoon!

Have a look at her whole gallery that includes many more Pokemon artworks here!

Rock Slide

“A Rock-type attack that hits the target with an avalanche of rocks and boulders”

Rock Slide is one of the damage dealing Rock-Type moves since Gen I, it has also a 30% of inflicting Flinch to the enemy since Gen II. Since Gen III it can also hit adjacent Pokemon in Double or Tripple matches.

#347 Anorith

“Anorith is said to be a type of Pokémon predecessor, with eight wings at the sides of its body. This Pokémon swam in the primordial sea by undulating these eight wings.”
