The Darknut is a recurring enemy that looks like a Knight in the Legend of Zelda game series by Nintendo.

This enemy debuted in the original Legend of Zelda (1986) and returned in around the half of the sequels as well as in spin-off games like Hyrule Warriors (2014). Their design was changed drastically in some of the games like Zelda: The Wind Waker (2003) which was also the first game where Link can destroy their heavy armor which changes the tactics of the Darknut.
