Darth Vader is the well-known main antagonist of the classic Star Wars Trilogy and was featured in over 20 video games starting with Star Wars on the NES by Namco back in 1987. A 2D platformer game relative loosely based on the classic movies and a very difficult Darth Vader as the final boss.

Darth Vader is also playable a few times like in Star Wars: Masters of Teräs Käsi (1997), the first Star Wars based fighting game. Darth Vader is also the main antagonist of both Star Wars: The Force Unleashed games.  

He is playable in multiple more crossover and spinoff Star Wars games, and had also a prominent role as a guest character in SoulCalibur IV (2008) .

He finally got his own game with Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series in 2020.
