The Angler Fish is a recurring Boss from two of the Handheld Legend of Zelda games.

It debuted as the Boss of the Angler’s Tunnel Dungeon in Link’s Awakening (1993) and returned with a different design which was no longer looking like the real-life Angler Fish Animals as the Boss of the Jabu-Jabu-Belly in Zelda: Oracle of Ages (2001) on the Game-Boy Color.

It was one of the easiest bosses ever in Legend of Zelda history and could be defeated even before it would be able to attack Link in Link’s Awakening. In Oracle of Ages, it is much smaller and faster and not so easy to defeat anymore.
