Suicune used Aurora Beam by AuroraLion

Aurora from the USA joined our Pokémon as one of the first artists who did not participate in any other Game-Art-HQ Art Collaborations before. She submitted her take on Jolteon in the 2nd May week already and continued with Flareon and Nidoran (both genders) in the following months. In 2017 she continued to be a part of the Pokemon Tribute with Suicune!

If you are a Transformers fan, her gallery on dA is a must-see, you can visit her works here!

Aurora Beam

“A rainbow-colored attack beam. It may lower the foe’s Attack stats!

The Aurora Beam is one of the Ice-Type moves that were debuting together with the first Pokemon games. It deals damage and  has also a 10% chance of lowering the attack stat of the enemy by one stage. In Pokemon Stadium the chance was 33%.

The first Pokemon who is able to learn the Aurora Beam is Vulpix but the first one that used it in our Art Collaboration was Dewgong 🙂

Suicune used Ice Fang by DragonchildX

DragonchildX aka Aurora from Hungary draws a lot types of different art, ranging from landscapes to human characters, fan art and a lot more. She participated in our Pokemon Gen I Project and our Nintendo 64 Anniversary Tribute and became also one of our Art Judges in the Game-Art-HQ group on deviantART!

I look forward to see more of this talented artist when we start our next art collaborations.

Please have a look at her portfolio here!

Ice Fang

“The user bites with cold-infused fangs. This may also make the target flinch or leave it frozen”

The Ice Fang is a strong Ice-Type attack that was introduced in Generation VI and as a 10% chance to Freeze its opponent or and also a 10% chance to inflict the Flinch status on it. The first Pokemon in the Pokedex that can learn it, is actually the Arbok.

Ice Fang was introduced to our Pokemon Art Collaboration by two of the Generation II Pokemon. Piloswine and Suicune!

#245 Suicune

It races around the world to purify fouled water. It dashes away with the north wind.

Suicune is a Water-type Pokemon and one of the three Johto legendary dogs beside Entei and Raikou resurrected from the Tin Tower fire by Ho-oh. It is said that Suicune represents the rain quenched the fire of the tower.

It is the mascot of Pokemon Crystal, appearing on the game’s box art as well as in the intro of the game as the major Pokemon. In the games and anime, Eusine is constantly trying to pursue Suicune.

Suicune played a major role in the Pokemon movie ‘Pokemon 4Ever’ in which it was shown to be purifying the water in the lake that Pokemon used to heal themselves. It was shown to be a rare and illustrious Pokemon, and battled Dark Celebi when it was under control of the antagonist of the movie.
