Arika is a Japanese video game developer studio that was founded in 1995 by former Capcom employees. One of their first big projects was to create the first Street Fighter game in 3D. The game was later called Street Fighter EX and featured characters from the older SF games as well as many new faces. Arika also created their completely own fighting game Fighting Layer that was only released in Japanese Arcades. Lately they created Dr. Mario for Nintendo as well as games for the 3D Classics series on the Nintendo 3DS. The majority of their own character creations still come from the SFEX games. |
