Tyris Flare is one of the playable protagonists in Golden Axe (1989) and Golden Axe II (1991) as well as the main protagonist in Golden Axe: Beast Rider (2008) where she got a new visual design. Tyris is an amazon and looks like she would come from a Conan the Barbarian novel or movie with her being almost naked in the classic Golden Axe games. Golden Axe: Beast Rider sadly was not that good and also not a financial success, so far it is the last game starring Tyris. There are a lot of amazing well drawn illustrations and some great cosplays of her as well though. |
