Huntail using Water Pulse by Dreamgate-Gad

Dreamgate-Gad from Peru is one of the most active Game-Art-HQ Contributors since around four years and started with a really unpopular character from the Final Fight games for one of our fighting game related projects.

He continued to participate in almost all later art activities, our Pokémon Tribute, however, got his full dedication, today in June 2017 he drew already nineteen of the many Pokemon for our tribute series since we started it in 2016!

Water Pulse

“The user attacks the target with a pulsing blast of water. It may also confuse the target.”

Water Pulse is a classic Water-type move in which the user sends out pulses in waves that also has a 20% chance of confusing the foe. It is a very common move for Water Pokemon to learn and something of great advantage for a non-Water type such as Dragonair and Delcatty.

This move is considered beautiful by judges in Pokemon contests.

The Water Pulse made its GA-HQ debut when Dragonair used it in our Tribute in 2016!  Huntail is the third Pokémon to be illustrated with this move, being able to learn it via TM03 in Generations III and IV, and by Move Tutor in VI and VII.

Huntail

“To withstand the crushing pressure of water deep under the sea, its spine is very thick and sturdy. Its tail, which is shaped like a small fish, has eyes that light up”
