Imagine you are encountering the giant centipede or worm-like Moldorm like the one above. You take your Sword but the beast has no fear and will fight you until the end.

Romeo J. Gonzales is like myself a big fan of the Mortal Kombat fighting games and is an active member of the Game-Art-HQ Community now since years. He participated in almost all of our fighting game related art collaborations so it was a surprise to see him taking one of the last remaining enemies, the Moldorm when we tried to get all classic Legend of Zelda enemies together for Link’s Blacklist in 2016.

I recommend to have a look at his portfolio, especially if you are a fighting game player as well!

The Moldorm in the classic Legend of Zelda are only seen in dungeons and are usually pretty weak enemies that won’t attack Link if he leaves their rooms fast enough.

This enemy returned in almost all Zelda games on handhelds and even turned into a boss or mini-boss in some of the later games. They are more like giant worms in the classic Zelda while their appearance and behavior changed to that of a fast centipede-like beast in the later games.
