Tekken 1 was well appreciated already while it had some technical flaws and the sequel which arrived in 1996 on the Playstation fixed those, added many characters, made some of the “clones” more individual and added a huge amount of moves to the game but Tekken 3 topped everything in 1998!

The King of the Iron Fist Tournament returned with many new faces, a story set around 15 years after Tekken 2, had some of the best graphics ever seen in a Playstation game, featured a bombastic soundtrack and had such a superb gameplay that there are not a few gamers still praising Tekken 3 as the best title in the series still.

The Playstation version also got additional characters, stages and even modes like the Tekken Force and the unlockable Tekken Ball Mini Game…more about that one below ūüôā

Tekken 3 continued to be a very successful fighting game series after the Playstation era, we are celebrating its 20th Anniversary in December 2014 as well and the next big game of the series is arriving in 2015!

Tekken Ball and Gon by Fenrir the 2nd

Tekken 3 has been my first arcade game, I loved that game, I used to play it all time at my cousins’ place and when I got a PSX I saved some money to buy the game, and I’ve played Tekken with its saga since then.
The PSX gifted me with wonderful days, with its low-res games that made me fall in love with their worlds.

Even now after 20 years since its launch, my PSX console is near the PS2 and PS3 always ready to be turned on to play!
