Solid Snake is the main protagonist in the most of the Metal Gear (Solid) games. He made his debut back in 1987 in Metal Gear for the MSX and a bit later the NES and got a giant comeback with Metal Gear Solid on the Playstation in 1998.

Solid Snake returned in MGS2 and 4 as the main protagonist of the main-series and was also featured in most of the spinoff and side games. He made it also in Super Smash Bros. Brawl on the Nintendwith Konami o Wii and DreamMix TV Champions, a Japan only crossover fighting game for the Playstation 2 and Nintendo Gamecube,  Hudson and Takara video game characters and also Konami’s Evolution Skateboarding as an unlockable skateboarder.

There are a handful more games where Solid Snake makes appearances in mini games like in Ape Escape 3 or Scribblenauts in Japan.
