Joel, one of the two main protagonists of The Last Of Us, lost his own daughter but almost adopts Ellie who is with him in the game. The two are protecting for each other like a real family, and Joel will do everything to avoid losing another child.
The characters of the Last of Us are relative unusual, and not the typical cold-blooded action heroes you know from Resident Evil and the most other action and survival horror games, instead they are shown as real humans with all kinds of conflicts, strenghts and weaknesses. Andyana “p1xer” Jones from Russia portrayed Joel here, based on one of the cinematic scenes of the game.
