Sonya Blade was among the returning characters and got a huge redesign with her not looking like Kerri Hoskins anymore she looked a bit older than the usual blonde “fighting game babe” stereotype now too and is one of the leading Earthrealm warriors who fight to defend both Earthrealm and Outworld against the Deadly Alliance. ~ Agent Sonya Blade and her team had finished their mission of demolishing any known ancient inter-realm portals when she received word from Jax that the Agency’s portal chamber had been destroyed. With no means for traversing the realms, Sonya realized that there were now two agents lost in Outworld.The first had been the ninja cyborg Cyrax, whom some time ago. And now Agent Kenshi, originally sent to find Cyrax, was lost as well. She would have to find a way to get to Outworld and bring them home. ~ Sonya Blade uses a pair of Kali Sticks in MKDA and has Taekwondo and Kenpo as her fighting styles, her specials were radically changed, she only has a flying kick similar to the one of Liu Kang in earlier games and a new one where a kiss of her can stun the opponent for 2 seconds.
