Scorpion, once killed by a Lin Kuei Ninja named Sub Zero returned from the Netherrealm but was not allowed to see his family again in Mortal Kombat I. In the sequel he hears that Sub Zero returned and stalks down the Ninja dressed in blue to kill him once again, but he realizes that this is not the same man. He decides to let him live and participates in the Mortal Kombat tournament. In his ending he defeated both Shang Tsung and Shao Kahn and discovers his new purpose. Being the Guardian of this different Sub Zero..and to prepare a third tournament. Well..things were different back in 1993..the story of Scorpion changed a lot during the games. ~ Scorpion returned not only with the continued storyline but also with his now popular “Come Here” spear attack, the Teleport Punch but also a new air throw, the additional leg scissor throw and one of the funniest Friendships in Mortal Kombat 2. ~ Scorpion from Mortal Kombat II was drawn by STLemons as one of the first submissions for the 2nd round of the MK Tribute in June 2012. |
