The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask was released in the year 2000 for the Nintendo 64 and was more or less Nintendo’s Swan Song for the system with the Gamecube being released a year later.

The game was a lot build on Zelda OoT first but so many unique and new ideas were implemented later that it is till today one of the most unique Zelda games, with the only game in the series so far reducing the adventuring time of the players with a global time limit due to the story.

Speaking about the story, unlike most Zelda games, this one does not play in Hyrule and has also nothing to do with Ganon for a change. But read more about that either on the wikipedia or partially in the descriptions of the featured artworks by the fans here, especially in those which are part of our Link’s Blacklist Art Project.
