Link`s Blacklist: Pincer from the Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening

The Pincer is an enemy who debuted in The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening and a worm like creature like Moldorn or the Lanmolas. So far the Pincer returned only in the other Game Boy Zelda games, Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Time, so it is one of the few enemies which never appeared in Hyrule yet. These beasts are hiding in the sand and attack Link if he comes nearby. To defeat them Link must be very quick and avoid their attack and just use the Sword 1-2 times.
This illustration of the Pincer there was drawn by Eli Haun who participated with another Link’s Awakening enemy, the Wizzrobe before in Link’s Blacklist already. It was made by him as part of the 4th Round which endured from March-June 2014.He wrote the following about his latest contribution: “This is the pincer from ‘The Legend of Zelda: Links Awakening’. The other entries I have submitted were semi-realistic/serious, so I decided to go with something a little more cartoony and playful. I tried to stay true to the source material, but I did deviate a little by making it an above ground creature. Meh Anyway, I hope you enjoy this, and any feed back you want to give will be greatly appreciated Total time: 10 hours, done in Photoshop CS2 and Corel Painter 12, but mostly in photoshop. intuos4 small.
