Astos is the evil king of the dark elves in the original Final Fantasy (1987) and its remakes. He cursed the Prince of Elfheim before the four Warriors of Light appear there and disguised himself as a king who asks the protagonists to find a rare crown for him. When they arrive they have to battle Astos. In some of the remakes of Final Fantasy he will appear another time at a later point in the game. Astos also appears in the Final Fantasy Airborne Brigade (2012) game for mobiles. Astos appeared in a Captain N cartoon episode sd one of a very few Final Fantasy characters during the whole show. |
