2011 was a year full of sequels for old and relative new game series. The year started with sequels like Dead Space 2 and LittleBigPlanet 2 and ended with sequels like Serious Sam 3 and Trine 2. In between were some new games as well of course like Bulletstorm and Rage but this year was really totally overshadowed by the many sequels and a few well done reboots like Mortal Kombat which re-told the events of Mortal Kombat 1-3 in a very detailed story mode.
