After the events of Mortal Kombat 4, Cyrax the former Lin Kuei Ninja retained his soul thanks to the Special Forces agents Sonya Blade and Jax. He joined their agency and became a scout in Outworld. He was ambushed there by a Reptilian creature and defeated it but his inter-realm portal technology was damaged and now Cyrax has to find another way to journey back to Earthrealm. ~ Cyrax returns as a unlockable character in Mortal Kombat. Deadly Alliance and got not only a visual overhaul but also new special moves like the “Slice and Dice” Chainsaw weapon and a whirling spinkicks move. His bombs from the former games returned. He brings a Pulse Blade to the Battle and uses the Ninjitsu and Sambo fighting styles.
