Tanya is one of the completely new characters in Mortal Kombat 4 and comes from the same realm as Kitana, Jade and Sindel, Edenia. In her bio it is unclear on which side she stands, will Tanya fight against the fallen elder god Shinnok or side with him against the Earthrealm Warriors? ~ Tanya comes with a few traditional specials like a fireball but can shot it also in the air, really fun are her fatalities which are must-sees. ~ Tanya lures Liu Kang into a trap by Quan Chi and Shinnok himself which reveal that all the other Earthrealm warriors and even Raiden himself are fallen already. Liu kang tries to fight but has no chance. While this ending is non canon, it became a staple of the Mortal Kombat series that Tanya betrays someone in every game she appears in. Fun Fact, Tanya is named after one of Ed Boon’s sisters.
