Mortal Kombat Art Tribute: Hornbuckle from Mortal Kombat II

This is a character never seen playable in any Mortal Kombat game, but whatever..we thought he belongs in our art Tribute! Back in Mortal Kombat II, in the Pit II Stage you can see a guy who looks like Liu Kang in different colored clothes fighting an enemy who is on fire. The later one became Blaze, a playable character and the boss of Mortal Kombat Armageddon, but Hornbuckle, how players named the Liu Kang Clone was never formed into a real character (yet). Who knows..we got Reptile, Ermac, Skarlet and Blaze who all were rumored characters before..maybe Hornbuckle will join them in some form in a future Mortal Kombat? Since Liu Kang’s destiny seems to die sooner or later during a Mortal Kombat game, why not replacing him with another similar Shaolin Monk 🙂
