The Thwomp is an enemy type in the Super Mario games since it was introduced in Super Mario Bros. 3 (1988). They returned in almost all Super Mario games including spin-offs like Super Mario Kart, Mario Party and many of the Mario Sports games. The Thwomp is usually an enemy type that can not be defeated by Mario unless he got some specific power-ups like the star that grants him invincibility. Unlike the most other enemies, the Thwomp just tries to fall on Mario. |
