Leon is one of the playable characters in Final Fantasy II (1988) but also one of the antagonists during the majority of the game. He became a playable character in a couple of the Final Fantasy spinoff games including Pictlogica Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy: Record Keeper and Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. Leon was the first antagonist in the Final Fantasy series that was related to one of the main protagonists, he is also the first “Dark Knight” character in Final Fantasy. And Leon was also the first antagonist who becomes playable at a later time in a Final Fantasy. |
