Moloch is an unplayable boss character in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance (2002) and basically the true boss there since Shang Tsung and Quan Chi are just regular characters fought at the end of the game one after another.

Moloch became a playable character in Mortal Kombat: Armageddon (2006) and also had a small role in the Konquest Mode of Mortal Kombat: Deception (2004).

Moloch is one of two Oni (Demon) characters from the Netherrealm in MK DA and is probably dead forever and won’t be seen again in a Mortal Kombat game. Quan Chi shows Moloch’s sewered head on one of his intros in Mortal Kombat X (2015).
