Batman: Arkham Origins is the third Batman: Arkham game and was developed by WB Games Montréal and released in October 2013. The game plays before the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum and sees Batman fighting Black Mask as well as eight assassins including Deadshot, Bane and Deathstroke. While Batman is the only playable character in the main campaign, there are more playable characters for other game modes including Robin and Deathstroke. The game received a lot of praise for its boss battles but received criticism for the multiple game-breaking bugs that were not completely fixed even after multiple patches. The Wii U version did not receive all the dlc due to low sales. The game was later re-released as a complete edition with all dlc for Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. |
