Kuma is one of the playable characters in the Tekken fighting game series. Kuma debuted as one of the unlockable Mid-Bosses in the first Tekken (1994) and returned in that role in the following Tekken games up to Tekken 5 (2004). Like the most other characters too, Kuma became an initially playable character from Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection (2006) and returned in every Tekken game up to Tekken Revolution (2013). Like a handful of other characters, Kuma was not in the Arcade Versions of Tekken 7 but returned in the home versions of Tekken 7: Fated Retribution (2017). He was the first “Animal Fighter” in the series. While Kuma had mostly moves from other characters like Jack in the first Tekken games, his move-set became more individual with every game. Kuma is usually affiliated with Heihachi Mishima and a rival for Paul Phoenix. |
