The “gief” how Zangief is called by many fans is a power house. He first started doing spinning piledrivers in 1991, in STREET FIGHTER II. Zangief is a generally slow character but his powerful attacks compensate, today almost every 2d fighter has at least one typical grappler like him in the roster Throughout the ages, Zangief has been in the Street Fighter animated movie, Capcom vs. SNK, Alpha 3, SF IV Super SFIV, and Arcade Edition, as well as SFXT. This wrestler is probably based off of Victor Zangiev a real wrestler. |
