Freddy Krueger in Terrordrome

Freddy Krueger, the villain from the Nightmare on Elm Street movies debuted back in 1989 in a video game for the C64 and DOS platforms which got a sequel very fast. A Nightmare on Elm Street was also released for the NES by the pretty known developer Rare, but the game itself was quite a boring platformer. It was planned to play as Freddy Krueger himself there and hunt children but these plans were canceled due to the following controversy for such a game.

Freddy Krueger’s next in-game appearances were in Mortal Kombat 9 (2011) as the last DLC character. He is based on the 2010 Elm Street Reboot there. The same version of Freddy Krueger can be bought in Dead by Daylight since October 2017. The original Freddy Krueger is only playable in the fanmade and free fighting game Terrordrome
