Man’s Best Friend? – Maybe dogs are really man’s best friend, but Link’s best friend in Ocarina of Time is Epona, his trusty steed.

After winning her (Heart) at Lon Lon Ranch, Link can always trust Epona, travel faster on her through Hyrule, and jump over obstacles like the broken bridge in Gerudo Valley.

Epona was drawn by Dragonaeriaes from the USA for Link’s Friendlist and is the ninth submission by her. She has been on board since we started Link’s Blacklist back in June 2012!

 

Fun Fact: Epona is actually named after the Celtic goddess of horses, donkeys, and mules. You can read more about the mythological Epona here.
