Run as fast as you can into a house Link or you are dead in no time! Seriously, attacking the Cuccos and making them mad can mean bigger threat for our Hero of Time than all incarnation of Ganon together sometimes.
The whole screen will be filled with the enraged Cuccos and if Link won’t find a way to hide, he has almost no chance since they can’t be defeated and are coming from all sides.
