Motaro, a Centaur got the leadership position by Shao Kahn during the Earthrealm Invasion. He serves as the Mid-Boss in Mortal Kombat 3 and is responsible for the death of Johnny Cage during that time. This was changed completely in Mortal Kombat 9 where he is getting defeated by Raiden.
