Minwu is one of the protagonists in Final Fantasy II (1988) that are only playable and a part of the players party for a certain part of the game. Minwu represents the White Mage job-class in the game.

Like all Final Fantasy protagonists he made it into a couple of the many Final Fantasy spinoff games. He is an unlockable character in Theatrhythm Final Fantasy  (2012) and its sequel Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call (2014). In the third part of the series, Theatrhythm Final Fantasy All-Star Carnival (2016) Minwu is playable from the start.

He is also a playable character in Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (2014). He also appears as Card or Avatar form in a couple more games and made a cameo in the first two Dissidia games.
