Abra used Teleport by Hozure

Hozure joined Game-Art-HQ when we had an Music and Art Collaboration with OverClockedRemix about the 15th Anniversary of the great Final Fantasy IX and Hozure submitted a beautiful take on Eiko and her Moogles. He joins Art Collaborations rarely, but when he does, you can expect outstanding stuff, just like his takes on Weezing, Magneton and finally Abra.

I recommend to have a look at his whole gallery on dA here!

“Use it to flee from any wild Pokémon. It can also warp to the last Pokémon Center visited”

Teleport is a non-damaging Psychic-Type move that is useful to flee in a battle with a wild Pokemon. Outside of battles it can move the player to the last visited health place like a Pokemon Center.

Abra used Psychic by Nekolloco

Nekolloco is one of the youngest artists that joined our Pokémon tribute but her submissions to it looked super cute and are among the most lovely of the over 300 artworks made for it I believe.

She draws a lot other cute stuff as well which you can see in her dA gallery here

“A Psychic-type attack. Has a one-in-three chance of lowering the target’s Special rating”

Psychic (Known in Japan as  Psychokinesis) is one of the most popular Psychic-Type moves.

It does not only deal damage to the enemy but has a 33,3% chance to lower the Special stats/moves by one stage. Since Gen II it also has a 10% chance to decrease the Special Defense by one stage. The first Pokemon in the Pokedex that can learn Psychic through learning is the Venonat btw.

“Even while asleep, it can sense enemies approaching. It Teleports itself to a distant spot if there is any danger”

Abra is the first Psychic-Type Pokemon in the Pokedex and can evolve into Kadabra and eventually Alakazam. These three have some of the funniest names in the whole Pokedex I believe.

Abra can actually read the minds which helps it to know when something dangerous is on the way. It can teleport itself to a safe place. The downfall of these strong abilities is that Abra has to sleep for around 18 hours during a day.No wonder it looks often so sleepy…
