Persian used Slash by MiladySnowdrop

MiladySnowdrop from Italy shared mostly League of Legends fan art on her dA gallery but this changed quickly when she joined the Pokemon Tribute to take Persian, Hypno and eventually Seadra. We look forward to see more from this artist in the future!

“The target is attacked with a slash of claws or blades. Critical hits land more easily.”

Slash is a rather common move found amongst a great deal of Pokemon. With a hit rate of 100% and a power stat of 70, it is a hard-hitting Normal-Type move that can inflict critical damage more easily. Most Pokemon who possess sharp claws have or can learn this move.

Persian used Shadow Claw by Surisha

Surisha from Slovenia joined Game-Art-HQ with her take on  a realistic looking Persian, she is not very active on dA but we hope she might return for the Gen II Pokemon Tribute in 2017 as well.

“The user slashes with a sharp claw made from shadows. It has a high critical-hit ratio.”

Shadow Claw is a Ghost-Type move introduced in Generation IV as TM move TM 65.

A nasty looking move that hits hard and increases the chances of landing critical hits. However as it is a Ghost-Type move; it does not work against Normal-Type Pokemon.

persian-pokemon-red-and-blue-official-art “Although its fur has many admirers, it is tough to raise as a pet because of its fickle meanness.”

Persian is the evolved form of Meowth starting at Level 28. Like Meowth its signature move is Pay Day.

Although it is considerably a stronger and more elegant version of Meowth, it is far more temperamental. Unlike Meowth which is more attracted to humans; the Persian is difficult to raise and will even scratch its trainers. Interestingly, when holding its whiskers it becomes far more docile.
