Tyrael is one of the main protagonists in the Diablo games by Blizzard Entertainment. He was introduced as the Archangel of Justice and biggest defender of the Humans and fought not only the evil in the form of Diablo and his brothers but also turned against his own kind, the other angels and choose to become a human during the events of Diablo III (2012). He was introduced already in Diablo II (2000) but was seen only twice and during a few cutscenes in the game while he accompanies the player through the most parts of Diablo III as an NPC. Tyrael became a playable character for the first time in Heroes of the Storm (2015) a MOBA that features characters from different video game series by Blizzard Entertainment. |
