Crash Bandicoot from the Crash Bandicoot Series, Game Art and an Overview
Crash Bandicoot is the main protagonist of the same named 3D Platformer series that was created by Naughty Dog in 1996. Crash Bandicoot also got its own Kart racing spinoff series starting with Crash Team Racing (1999).
The Crash Bandicoot games were developed by Naughty Dog, funded by Universal and mainly published by Sony. However, Universal got the IP rights and sold them to Activision later. Activision developed a couple CB games later which were more or less successful but never reached the success of the first games.
Crash Bandicoot celebrated a little return through his inclusion in Skylanders Imaginators (2016). The first three Crash Bandicoot games are also getting remastered for the Playstation 4 in 2017. Crash Bandicoot himself was often seen as the inofficial Sony Playstation Mascot.
