This is a fan art by Tom Waterhouse of the fictional character Iori Yagami from The King of Fighters fighting game series by SNK Playmore

 

Tom`s own description of his work:

“I’ve been wanting to draw something like this for some time, something with a large emphasis on a screwy perspective. I found myself drawing this out and it just had to become Iori. There was emphasis on big hair as well, so I’d be fooling myself if it were to be anything but Iori.

You may also notice a slightly different style. Nothing solid that I’m going to stick to, but I did this for three reasons:

1. To draw something quickly (oh how satisfying it is);
2. Keep the image simple (as the idea);
3. and loads of inspiration from the fantastic Ashley Wood.

A fantastic illustrator, who I’ve come across a few times before, but only really got into his work thanks to a series of Metal Gear Solid comics.The style is just fantastic, and no doubt it works for all his pieces, but it fits the MGS comic perfectly. Keep up the great work, Ashley!
