This is a fan art by Tom Waterhouse of the fictional character Amigo from the Samba de Amigo rhythm game series by Sega
Tom`s own description of his work:
“My only knowledge of Samba de Amigo prior to drawing this was the weird mode on Phantasy Star Online when the ‘Samba Carnival’ started playing… That was odd.
This was for the rather excellent Playd Magazine (does not exist anymore)
I did it a while ago and have been meaning to put it up for ages. I did this long before but it makes me think of the rather excellent illustrations from Mario Hoops/Basketball for the DS.”
