Gato is a playable character from Garou: Mark of the Wolves (1999) who was later added to the King of Fighters series. He debuted there as part of the “Outlaw” Team with Ryuji Yamazaki and Billy Kane in The King of Fighters 2003. In the sequel The King of Fighters XI (2005) he forms the “Garou” team with Bonne Jenet and Tizoc.

Gato uses techniques from Kung Fu styles like Bājíquán he learned mostly from his father. However, his father killed his mother under unknown circumstances. In the ending of Garou MOTW he is blinded by a stranger who rescued Kain after he was defeated by Gato.
